In December 2014, U.S. President Barack Obama and Cuban President Raúl Castro announced the beginning of a process of to normalize relations between Cuba and the United States, thus ending a 54-year stretch of hostility between the nations. Less than 3 months later in March 2015, I embarked on a solo adventure that would change my life, both personally and professionally.

an island very few American's had setthis mysterious nation. began a solo adventure that changed my life. Little did I know upon leaving the U.S. that in matter of weeks, I would fall in love with a country and it's people. Before my scheduled return to America, I was already planning my return 6 months later.

Since that first visit to Cuba in March 2015, I have returned 17 times. 3 years and 18 trips later, my passion for this spectacular island continues to grow with each visit.
