Like the fiery salsa rhythms that can be heard rippling through its city streets, Havana springs to life with a warmth and vivaciousness that never stops taking you by surprise. Cuba's largest city is an urban metropolis – a place of rambling Colonial architecture, endless adventure and unfettered discovery. Our Heart of Cuba adventure is a full-on immersive experience allowing you to not only pay witness to Cuba’s dynamic rhythm and color, but to dive right in and become part of the canvas. It will take you beyond the traditional streets and sights of Old Havana and deep into Centro Havana, a grittier and no-frills densely-populated district. You will also visit the more modern Vedado, a sprawling 1950's middle-class neighborhood with sumptuous mansions and a sense of 1950s middle-class Havana. Vedado also serves as the main center of commerce, government, and nightlife. If Old Havana is arguably the ‘soul’ of Havana, then Vedado is indisputably the vibrant heart.
