Our Dance Cuba adventure coincides with the International Ballet Festival of Havana which is considered one of the most significant cultural happenings in Cuba, as well as one of the most prestigious dance festivals in the world. This biennial event will showcase more than 20 classical and contemporary performances that feature the best dancers, choreographers, and companies from around the globe. You will have opportunities to attend live performances, meet with professional dancers, tour the stunning Grand Theater, and gain rare privileged access to the distinguished National Ballet School. ACOMMODATIONS - All accommodations are in licensed casa particulares (bed and breakfasts) with air-conditioned bedrooms, and in-suite private bathrooms with hot water showers. Accommodations are based upon a per person double occupancy rate. If you are traveling alone we will make our best effort to match you with a suitable roommate. If we are unable to do so for any reason, or if you prefer the privacy of your own room, a minimum single occupancy supplement of $195 will be applied to the cost of your trip. Single occupancy is based upon room availability and will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY - You will encounter poorly maintained roads and steep staircases on this adventure. Participants must be be in reasonably good health, steady on their feet, and able to walk several hours daily without slowing down the group.

TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS - Plan to arrive at José Martí International Airport (HAV) in Havana before 5:30pm on Friday (Day 0). A member of the Capturing Cuba team will greet you at the airport and transfer you to our accommodations. Your adventure will end in Havana on Wednesday (Day 5). A group transfer to José Martí International Airport (HAV) will be provided in the morning only. Airlines currently offering service between the U.S. and Havana are: Southwest, JetBlue, American, United, and Delta.
