Each photograph is carefully hinge-mounted to an acid-free, lignin-free mat board that offers maximum artwork protection and meets all requirements for conservation framing. We offer most mats in standard, ready-to-frame retail sizes that do not require expensive custom framing.
Float mounts offer a contemporary alternative to traditional framing and are available in either wood or metal. These stylish mounts offer a less expensive, cost-effective way to protect and display any size image and create the illusion that your image floats off the wall. Benefits include: a larger image that requires less wall space than a traditionally matted and framed photograph, increased image clarity due to the absence of glare caused by glass, and a lightweight yet durable easy-to-hang option that enables worry-free care and cleaning.
Wood - An invisible UV non-glare, fade-resistant laminate is applied to the face of the print which is then mounted to a lightweight 1/8" masonite hardboard using pressure sensitive materials. Each board comes with black beveled edges and a 3/4" deep recessed back frame that creates a "floating" effect when hung on your wall. Saw tooth hooks are attached for quick and easy hanging. The masonite can be easily dusted and cleaned with a micro-fiber cloth. Images mounted on wood are our standard framing option.
Metal - Dyes are infused directly into specially coated aluminum to create images with vibrant colors and brilliant luminescence. Each metal print comes with a recessed float mount block or back frame to create a "floating" effect when hung on your wall. Ideal for preserving images, metal mounts are waterproof and have an ultra-hard scratch resistance coating that can be cleaned easily with any commercial glass cleaner. All images are available on metal for an additional cost.
